P2/3 have been looking at life for people who live in the outback of Australia. We talked about the children who don't go to school but speak to a teacher over the radio and about medical emergencies and the flying doctors who come to help.
We split into groups and were given different emergency scenarios to deal with. Bandages and plasters were provided and each group had to work out how best to treat the emergency until the doctor could get there.
Here is Kathryn who was bitten by a snake and Clair who was hit on the head by a falling brick!
