Yesterday we started a science topic about recycling. We looked at lots of household rubbish and discussed if it could be put into our recycling bins at home. We sorted out the rubbish into different piles and decided which bin it could go into.
We read a story called "George saves the world by lunchtime" about a boy who saves the world by reducing the amount of electricity his home is using, reusing and repairing some old toys and clothes and by recycling the rubbish in his bins.
We then made our own board games about recycling. These aren't quite finished yet but they are beginning to look good!
