Today we were painting some firework pictures. We looked at the colour and shape of fireworks bursting in the sky and tried to draw them ourselves. To do this we used cotton buds instead of paint brushes and added some glitter to make it sparkle!

I really like your fireworks paintings. We saw some fantastic ones recently when the Queen Mary 2 was leaving. Your paintings reminded me of the shapes we saw flying up in the sky that night.
