Kelvingrove

Yesterday on our trip to Kelvingrove we were doing a workshop called "Behind the scenes at the Museum". We were learning about where all the exhibits came from and how they got them into the Museum. We learned that they had to take a whole door out to get the elephant in and that the Spitfire's wings were removed to get it through the door.

We were each given a toy exhibit to look at. We had to write the text card for the exhibit in less than 30 words. Everyone did really well and had fun thinking about what they needed to say. We when displayed our exhibits making sure that the text card was well displayed and easy to read.

This week we'll be hearing about how Stanley helps catch some robbers in a Museum.
