Today we went to the Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride. We used the 1950s handling box to look at various objects that would have been used in a house and kitchen. We learned about a Griddle and a Spurtle. After we'd finished with the box we went to their exhibition called "The Garden Detectives" where we learned lots about animals and plants found in the garden.
